EOM Update Nov 2025
This was the first month focused on youtube. I published 24 videos and 3 shorts. One of them got 400 organic views. Currently at 24 subscribers.
A half dozen more videos are pending edits, mostly &U interviews. I received overwhelming interest after publicly launching applications. They've come from all over the world: the Bahamas, India, Georgia, Indonesia, NYC, Kazakhstan, Brazil, Nigeria, Ukraine, etc.
Revving the talent engine proved generative for blogging too. I'm particularly proud of my series on altruism and its alternative. I'd like to think more about the implications of my predicted future as well as my overall content strategy.
I felt confident enough in my progress to reach out to a couple people, most notably Tyler Cowen. I applied to YC but expect a rejection. Iterated frame from "Shark Tank + Thiel Fellowship" to "inverse bitcoin".
I'm wondering how to best build leverage into my operating system. How aggressively should I seek funding? Hire a producer? There's also baseline motivation variance. Some days I'm on top of the world. Others, not so much.

I have around $230k total left, not including my personal Roth IRA or money already set aside for Phu. I'm probably going to spend at least $20k helping one of the latest &U applicants.
For EOY, I would like to set up Quickbooks properly. Eyeballing for now, let's say I keep $75k in reserve and estimate $60k in living expenses for 2026. Then I have around $100k or slightly less to spend...
People have asked: "What is your plan after blowing through all your cash if you don't have sufficient traction or income at that point?"
I've mostly ignored it, but perhaps the question is starting to weigh on me now. I might need to take my own advice and better calibrate going forward.
