# Patrick and Balaji

These guys are a modern cross-section of my [core texts](https://andys.blog/influences/) and many of my resultant hypotheses, which is [remarkable and timely](https://www.rickmathieson.com/articles/0302-sethgodin.html?ref=andys.blog) because I just finished explaining yesterday how unique and special of an understanding I have hahaha

Maybe it's not so wild though. On a [crazy walk](https://x.com/andytrattner/status/2002863229836628261?s=20&ref=andys.blog), I estimated of the 10B people alive roughly now or upon my birth, plus the maybe 10B potentially non-overlapping people alive upon my death, there is a 1000x reduction in eligibility, then another 1000x reduction in blah blah until we get roughly 2-20 people (max 200-2000, conservatively) whom I should expect to actually get at the [principles](https://andys.blog/principled/) I'm unearthing.

Seems there is still much, much, much to learn. Especially from these handful that I have a [moral obligation](https://andys.blog/ambition/) to find. Breadcrumbs scavenged are becoming chunkier loaves we might share.

The [anti-religion](https://andys.blog/religion/) I'm deriving on this blog is mostly me talking to myself, so I guess that means these hypothetical yet-to-be-confirmed people too. At least, according to Patrick's [Brett Victor](https://youtu.be/NGYGl%5FxxfXA?si=vpU%5Fe5NmvomkK77q&ref=andys.blog) frame..

My implementation, however, is still obviously unique and perhaps the cultural mainstream translation mechanism that Balaji's crypto world has been searching for. I'm still not sure, that's last-mile and phase 3 of the [plan](https://andys.blog/plan/). 

I just hope my [protocol](https://andytrattner.com/alignment?ref=andys.blog) is additive in a correct [Future](https://andys.blog/future/) [way](https://andys.blog/zaltiva/). Will keep thinking, as I have [no choice](https://andys.blog/nerd/). We should now view my previous squawking emissions ([Tyler](https://andys.blog/tyler-2/), [Peter](https://andys.blog/dear-peter/), [Sam](https://andys.blog/sam/), etc) just as the little fun love note poems that they are.

Seems good. Feels good. Unlike SF, where I will likely no longer be come January—I can still do this wherever forever:

I'm gearing for glory. Momentum is building into the new year. And on Friday, the [Braintrust](https://youtu.be/IpRjIS0GtPk?si=wt76L-UgXEhuN96k&ref=andys.blog) will convene for round 2\. Can't wait. Every day this coming week has something special. I've shifted from [retrospectivity](https://x.com/andytrattner/status/2002935808777695311?s=20&ref=andys.blog) to [forward-focus](https://x.com/andytrattner/status/2002910506810790108?s=20&ref=andys.blog) in yesterday --> today's blog. Huh.

**Feedback on** [**JoinAndy.org**](https://joinandy.org/?ref=andys.blog) **would be *most helpful*.** I haven't asked for any subscriber replies yet but open rate is always above 50% average which I think is crazy for this daily cadence and especially given the madness density I've been putting out. Also I just sent $1,000 in BTC to someone you can try to guess, so I'll add a wallet address or two for my own receiving soon.
