That's how many posts I can count. Maybe a couple extra with Substack and X. I believe it's 165 posts on the original, then 73 on Hey World, and 106 here on andys.blog, prior to now. Each one is a different little puzzle piece, a
If economics studies production and consumption, it behooves us to recognize how we are ALL economists. At minimum, we consume food and produce poop. I notice when I eat eggs and vegetables, drink lots of water, and go for jogs, my digestive system tends to be happier. The information age
When Steve Jobs advised "stay foolish," I don't think he meant to carelessly walk on the highway at a rest stop in the middle of the night to get hit by a car and destroy your right arm. Merry Christmas. My latest misadventure could have been
Dear Universe, I've never liked holidays but I've always loved Ted Chiang and hypothesizing. Now I see most precisely and clearly why. It feels like nobody else could possibly ever understand. It perfectly explains my extreme lack of success and utter devotion to Ayn Rand. This
I have discovered the E=mc^2 of the 21st century. It's simpler than Einstein's breakthrough and relies on the same method. I like the d=rt expression because just by capitalizing the D we indicate how easy of a shift it is to think like

We're in slack, join here if you want! And try the episode, at least minute 5 – minute 18. Also, MUST WATCH dog show at minute 56-58 🐶. And after that conclusion I'm very seriously considering moving to Texas immediately. Or maybe it's time for
I've come to realize I'm hypersensitive. An overzealous psychiatrist might diagnose a mild combination of autism, OCD, etc. But I prefer to think of myself simply as an introverted nerd. And this is actually pretty cool. In her book Quiet, Susan Cain ponders the contours and
Back in July, I predicted I would lose $100k or more attempting to create a "religion" of sorts. This has come true. It's not quite a loss, more of an expensive lesson in a particular personal failure mode. My original approach was simply too esoteric: "
