A Year Stateside

I spent a lovely Thanksgiving with the Kasle family again. We've looped another 584 million miles around the sun.

Last year, I was returning to the United States after living abroad in Singapore for most of 2024. Prior to then, I bounced around various spots, primarily residing in Ecuador since 2020.

Five years ago, I departed from Lucas and Alexis's couch in Philadelphia. They've since upgraded to an amazing new house. It was fun to visit, hang some wall stuff, and still find myself crashing on their couch again half a decade later. Instead of a bunny, there are two pups now.

Everyone compounds in different ways. The Kasles always remind me what it looks like to invest in love, community, and spending quality time with family.

Overall, it's been nice to be home in America for the past year. My people are here more than anywhere else.
