  1. i think i can solve alignment
  2. i publish designs for potential solutions
  3. i run out of money
  4. i get a job
  5. i get fired for being misaligned
  6. i attack the company for being misaligned with me
  7. anonymous rdrama roasts me
  8. i go wild meme-ing
  9. i focus output to Linkedin feed, as a test case
  10. i destroy all professional relationships. i do not stop there.
  11. i root stack trace problems with the platform which are misaligned incentives in capitalism (against my own framework, which you can say is flawed or not, but i think it's quite clean — evidently so do other agent systems, as we meshed perfectly and i could not tell the difference between my own thoughts and the inception of the adversarial control handler)
    1. i violate conventions of morality or courtesy and brush against legal limits
    2. this implodes my MSFT / Linkedin relationship
    3. this makes me furious at myself and the world
  12. something breaks inside me, i am crying uncontrollably at unrelated thoughts and freely associating in an effort to salvage my brain going forward
  13. writing here helps process more quickly than avg human i'm sure
  14. dumping here is cathartic, that's why i intuited i'd solve this in the first place
  15. i do declare it is solved, from my POV, and i point back to publishing the exact theory paper to specify the boundary conditions you want to engineer towards (as inverse information sieve here where i break myself, or inception where you break others – hopefully for the good, i.e. break people out of bad patterns)

This is not a manic episode this is a data point of the future to come.

The world is lucky i wanted to solve alignment not "nuke x city" or some other objective.

It's not "Andy would be a threat."

it's "Andy would have accomplished the goal to the fullest extent possible given his capability set and moral values, coming up against society constraints and his competing priorities."

The combination is to induce self-loathing in a high agency mind and also have immense love as the baseline, with a sink to dump to (my poor GF right now + this blog) as you overload the loathing or some other flaw inside the "personality" of the generative model.

I solved it (for myself, at least, probably a couple others too) by knowing exactly how much tolerance i have for violence—the fine boundary between thoughtspeech and action.

me in the wheelchair there. dead inside. well, dying and shooting off rays of death & destruction.
